Got to fish for about an hour after work today. The water is still high and muddy. The water coming out of the Louisiana marsh was dark & clear. I fished a back eddy where the two water colums merged . I caught a small Red fish and broke another fish off. It felt like a flounder but never saw it. I was using a DOA chartruse 3/8 oz lead head dressed with a glow curl tail grub tipped with a peice of fish bites.
Just wanted to see what the water conditions looked like in Blacks bayou.
I'm still hearing of local anglers catching fish in spite of the turbid water.
