Haven't had a chance to fish lately. I had a booked trip for this past Saturday but the weather blew that away. Trying to schedule a fishing trip a week in advance this time of year is difficult to say the least. The water was completely blown out of the bayou this morning. I couldn't have launched the boat even if I wanted to. By this afternoon there was barley enough to launch the boat. This cold blast and low water should really mix things up for a few days. Hopefully the weather will warm back up and the fishing pattern will stabilize. It's time to break out the chest waders and check for leaks, wade fishing time is upon us.
