4/20/08 Work, Work and more over time.
The is our plant shut down time of the year for me. 12 hour shifts and unscheduled over time has been the norm for the last 2 weeks. Then there is the clean up that follows. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully there will be more time to fish until next years plant turn around . I got an uplifting fishing report from a good friend,Dickie Colburn. He and Gene Lock caught a mess of 2 to 3 pound trout on the Louisiana shore line last Thursday and Johnny Cormier caught some on Wednesday. Looks like we maybe turning the corner on Sabine lake finally. I guess it was good timing for me since the fishing had been poor to say the least during my extended hours at work. Hopefully next week I can get back in the routine and spend more time on the water than at work.
Tight lines, Mike
