Big thunderstorms Saturday morning
Got up at daylight so as to catch the low and falling tide but the thunderstorms were already on top of us.I finally left the house at 9:30am and got on the flats but it was to late. The tide had already bottomed out and was dead still,"not a good thing". The tide really didn't do much of any thing so I called it a day about 2:30pm with another line of thunderstorms on the horizon. I saw a few fish but it was just plain dead on the flats. There is this certain sound the flats have when the bite is on. I guess it happened at daylight because it sure didn't happen when I finally got out there. But as we say," you never know until you go"
Tight lines, Mike
